Simcyp and the free ADME Tools

Simcyp Limited provides platforms for the modelling and simulation of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in virtual human populations and virtual laboratory animals (rat, dog & mouse). The Simcyp simulators allow the pharmaceutical research scientist to predict ‘real-life’ in vivo outcomes and associated inter-individual variability from routinely generated in vitro and clinical data thereby informing decision-making in drug development. More information on the Simcyp Simulators can be found on our website at http://www.simcyp.com.

One feature of the Simcyp Population-based Simulator is the ADME Prediction Toolbox, which allows users to quickly estimate average values of fu, fumic and QGut and assess the likely impact of atypical kinetics. This set of tools proved popular amongst the Simcyp Simulator users as well as those scientists who have been accessing it through the Simcyp website. As such, we have now launched it as a free mobile app. More information on the Simcyp ADME Prediction Toolbox can be found on our mobile applications website at https://apps.simcyp.com.
