Ideal for children who are not yet vocal imitators, this app provides a bridge from signing to vocal communication. This app is an electronic version of the very popular K&K Sign to Talk cards. Features ASL signs. Includes 190 everyday objects and actions that children frequently request and that double as excellent reinforcers (150 nouns and 40 verbs).

Each target item is represented by an engaging, real-life photo; a high-quality video of the ASL sign as demonstrated by a signing model; and a series of potential word approximations that can be used to guide a child toward improved articulation. The two main sections of the app are:

The Signing Zone:

• A visual dictionary containing all 190 target words divided into 12 categories.
• Students can select an individual photo and view a video demonstration of the ASL sign to assist in learning the sign. (video only, no audio)

The Therapy Zone:

• Instructors can create and manage individual student accounts.
• Build customized word lists for each student.
