Easily find your friends...
Hold up your phone, look around, see your friends. Or find them on a map. Perfect for concerts, festivals, events or busy cities.
You need a Twitter account to use this.
How it Works:
Open Shouty, see where your friends are ‘in reality’ through your iPhone’s camera.
If you want to tell your friends where you are, tap ‘Send my location’. Type in a message. Your ‘friends’ are your followers on Twitter.
Info for geeks:
Shouty is essentially a Twitter ‘client’. When you broadcast your location, you send a tweet with geo-location. When you see your friends location, you see their last Tweet. You will only see your own Twitter followers.
There's an option in the settings to only send to ‘@shouty_app’ (Twitter account) - that way only people who follow ‘@shouty_app’ will see your Shouty Tweets.
