Used to be the largest reservoir in Taiwan, Shihmen Reservoir has been operated for over 45 years to serve multiple functionalities of irrigation, hydropower generation, water supply, flood mitigation and tourism since her birth in mid of 1960’s. Due to the sediment problem of years and substitution by a new reservoir nearby, Shihmen Reservoir has gradually become a popular tourism spot rather than her previous functional role to most Taiwanese citizens. This App, with the same name of her, provides tourists of visiting the area with multiple angles of view to marvel the beauty and magnificence of Shihmen Reservoir, meanwhile, to enjoy the joyfulness of immersing in her surrounding scenic nature.
