This App is exclusively available to Ausgrid customers participating in the Smart Grid, Smart City Network Trial (an Australian Government Initiative), who have signed up to this SGSC Home Energy Online solution. If an SGSC smart meter has been installed at your premises and you have activated your SGSC Home Energy Online account, you’ll be able to log in and utilise this App using your SGSC Home Energy Online login details.

Key Features:
Real-Time Electricity Usage (subject to Smart Meter communications capability)
Based on the communications performance of your Smart Meter you will be able tofind out how much electrical power your household is using at any time. Your electrical power consumption will update approximately every 20 seconds. Electrical power usage is shown in Kilowatts (kW) and can range from 0.2kW to 10kW for a typical household.
Electricity Cost
Estimate your household electricity costs, set seasonal cost targets and track your performance against last month (Note that this is an estimate only and may not what match your retailer charges).
Historical Greenhouse Gas Emissions
View your household’s Greenhouse gas emissions, and compare your home with others participating in the Smart Grid, Smart City Network Trial.
Historical Electricity Usage
View your household’s electricity use history, and compare your home with others participating in the Smart Grid, Smart City Network Trial.

Home Energy Network - Appliance Monitoring of Electricity Usage & On/Off Control
Home Energy Network (HEN) allows you to view your home’s power consumption for up to 10 individual household appliances and compare appliance energy consumption to help you understand how your household appliances are contributing to your energy bill (e.g. today/this week/this month).

HEN provides you with:
Display of near real-time power usage for up to 10 appliances (updating approximately every 20 seconds)
A graphical historical comparison of energy consumption for each monitored appliance (as a percentage of the total usage of all monitored appliances).
On/off control of your monitored appliances via your smart phone.
