The SGCarCalc is a collection of calculation on car loan, early repayment and car profit margin that the car dealer is profiting.
The SGCarCalc can be used as a guide to help you to get a better sense of your financial commitments when buying a car, breaking a car loan contract and calculate the profit margin that the car dealer is getting.
The Car Loan and Early Repayment calculation are based on Hire Purchase (HP) Act using the Rule 78 calculation.
The Car Profit Margin allows you calculate the Profit Margin that the car dealer is getting so that hopefully you are in a better position to bargain for more discounts and freebies. Detailed calculation (OMV, RF, ARF, Duty, COE) on the car nett price is also provided for those who are interested on how the value is derived.
