Application Description
Sensor Data Show app displays the sensor data in the screen at 10 Hz. It also records the sensor data with a consistent timestamp in a txt file at 30 Hz. Sensor data is written with 5 significants digits. Text file is written in Matlab(TM) readable format. So that you can analyze the whole data easily. You can download the log files through iTunes. Connect your iPhone to a computer, start iTunes, go to the Apps tab and you can see all the log files under the Sensor Data Show app.
Sensors that are included are
• Accelerometer
• Gyroscope
• Magnetometer
• GPS (position, velocity and course angle)
• Attitude (NED frame euler angles)
Moreover SDS does not output raw data but rather all the data is arranged in NED (north-east-down) coordinate frame. All the sensor coordinate frames are arranged accordingly.
Use the recorded data to analyze your motion ( while walking, running, driving etc.).
