If you purchase LookAround for the iPad, your iPad must have cell service, or you can have a wifi connected iPod Touch or iPad with an Apple supported external Bluetooth GPS receiver. If you lose internet connection with any device the application will not work. If you purchase Sendero LookAround you will not only get useful location information, you will be underwriting the cost of accessible GPS for other users. Sendero GPS LookAround for the iPhone, with Voice Over, announces the current street, city, cross street, heading and nearby points of interest. Unlike Sendero's other applications, there is no turn-by-turn navigation on the iPhone yet. No ads are displayed in LookAround.
