Second Sip is a tool for organizing and sharing tasting notes on beer, wine, and spirits.

Creating a new note is as simple as entering the name. However, when you have time you can fill in many more fields such as style, region, occasion, vineyards, varietals, aroma, and so on. The more information you add, the more the tool can help you search and organize it for future reference.

These features help you manage your notes:
- tagging: organizes notes into categories. For example, if you visit the Great American Beer Festival in 2013, then tag all of your notes with gabf-2013 and you will have a list of everything you drank there.
- sharing: any note can be set to "private", "friends", or "public" sharing levels so that you have control over who sees them.
- autocomplete: any names that you enter are used in the autocomplete feature so that you only have to type out the full name once.
- search: All of your notes are full-text searchable.

Second Sip does not store data on your device. Everything goes directly to our servers, where they can be accessed at any time on http://www.secondsip.com. That means that you don't have to worry about backing up your data. It also means that sharing is a breeze - just email the link to the website.

IMPORTANT: because the data is stored in the Cloud and not on your phone, Second Sip cannot retrieve or create notes if your device is not connected to the internet. In other words, if you cannot browse the Web with Safari, then you cannot write or read notes on Second Sip.
