Application Description
This great gadget will scare your friends sensless and record their reaction on camera!!
Do you remember those funny videos from YouTube where people pull pranks on their friends by letting them play a "maze game", and just before the end of the level a scary image pops up and scares the beegeezes out of them? With Scary Recorder you can now pull the same prank to them on your mobile device. What makes Scary Recorder special is that now only will it scare you friends for your amusement, but it will also record their reaction, using the device's built-in camera.
Unlike the many videos on YouTube, which use the same "maze game" or a "spot the difference game" , Scary Recorder features a different "decoy". The player is shown a photo and must find a little star which is "hidden" somewhere on the photo. This way even those who are familiar with the "maze videos" won't have a clue...
How it works:
Tell a friend the goal is to find the small star and touch it to progress. If the player touches the wrong spot, a red "X" cross will be displayed. When he finally finds the star and touches it, a green "V" checkmark will be displayed and they will progress to the next level. There are 3 photos (levels). Shortly after level 3 begins, a scary image will appear with a loud screaming sound. Note that on the last level there is no star. This is intentional, so the one who is being pranked will be looking really hard, and then suddenly get scared. For the best effect make sure you turn up the speaker volume. The recorded reactions can be viewed from the built-in Camera Application of the device.
Compatibility:
The application will run even on devices that do not have front camera. On devices which only have a Back camera, video recording will still be performed but only the sound will be recorded (the image will intentionally be left blank). On devices with no camera, video recording will not be performed but the application will still function properly. Please note that on iPhone 3G video recording will not be performed but the application will still function properly.
