[About ScanSnap Connect Application]
This application allows your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to receive images scanned with the color image scanner ScanSnap, either from a computer or directly from ScanSnap iX500.

[What you need]
To use ScanSnap Connect Application, you need to have ScanSnap iX500 or install one of the following software in a computer with Wi-Fi connection.

- ScanSnap iX500 (computer is required for initial setup)
- ScanSnap S1x00 series
ScanSnap Manager V5.1L30 or later (Windows)
ScanSnap Manager V3.2L31 or later (Mac OS)
ScanSnap Organizer V4.1L30 or later (Windows)

[Main Features]
- Receive and view PDF/JPEG images scanned with the ScanSnap in a seamless manner, without syncing with iTunes
- Receive ready-to-use files with the various automatic correction features set in ScanSnap Manager in the computer (page size detection/color detection/blank page removal/deskew/image rotation)
- Receive and view images from ScanSnap Organizer
- View images offline
- Link the images with other applications such as iBooks and Evernote installed on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch (received data can be automatically deleted afterwards)
- Use the images in "Mail", "Print" or "Photos" on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch
- Convert and receive data from Rack2-Filer V5.0 (V5.0L60 or later)
* If you are using “Rack2-Filer Smart”, please install “Rack2-Filer Smart for iOS”.

[How to use ScanSnap Connect Application]
- For details about the settings/using this application, select the [i] icon in the bottom left corner of the screen after you start the application, then refer to [Help].
- For details about using ScanSnap iX500 or related applications in the computer, refer to the manual (or Help) bundled with the product.

- iPad series
- iPhone series (3GS or later)
- iPod touch series (3rd generation or later)
* Note that iOS 4.3 (or later) must be installed.
* To scan directly from ScanSnap iX500 to your device, we recommend iPad 2 (or later), iPhone 4S (or later) and iPod touch 4th generation (or later). The scanning speed of ScanSnap iX500 slows down with older versions.
