Application Description
The SAP HANA Academy offers free tutorial videos covering everything from How To use the functions and features of SAP HANA - to – Building Solutions with SAP HANA.
An additional feature of this educational app is that it incorporates the functionality that will be one of the core goals of the course.
It provides the user with a real world application that allows that user to create a location aware pass with their personal details and up to three stores of their choosing.
Once created, the pass will notify the user when they approach one of the defined locations. The app will then connect to the SAP HANA analytical engine and deliver a range of information to the user. The information will include the user's last visit, details of the store and a recommendation of items that may appeal to the user based on previous purchases and purchases made by individuals with a similar buying history.
