“สมุย+” เป็นแอพพลิเคชั่นสำหรับ iPhone ที่รวบรวมข้อมูล ภาพถ่าย และแผนที่แหล่งท่องเที่ยว ร้านอาหาร ที่พัก และอื่นๆ ที่น่าสนใจ บนเกาะสมุย และเกาะใกล้เคียงคือ เกาะพะงัน เกาะเต่า เกาะนางยวน และหมู่เกาะอ่างทอง ระบบจะทำงานในแบบออนไลน์ โดยดึงข้อมูลของแต่ละสถานที่จากเซิร์ฟเวอร์ ทั้งคำบรรยาย รูปภาพ ที่อยู่ หมายเลขโทรศัพท์ และเว็บ มาพักไว้ในเครื่องเพื่อให้สามารถเรียกดูได้เร็วขึ้น ส่วนแผนที่จะเป็นการเรียกใช้จากระบบของ Apple Maps และสามารถแสดงตำแหน่งปัจจุบันจาก GPS บนแผนที่เพื่อใช้นำทางอย่างคร่าวๆ ได้ นอกจากนี้ยังมีความสามารถในระบบเพิ่มเติมคือ
- ให้คะแนนและความเห็น (comment) จากผู้ใช้ที่ล็อกอินผ่าน Facebook และแชร์กลับไปยัง Facebook ด้วย
- ให้ผู้ใช้หรือเจ้าของสถานที่แนะนำและให้ข้อมูลสถานที่น่าสนใจเพิ่มเติมเข้ามาในฐานข้อมูลของระบบ
- ให้ผู้ใช้สามารถบันทึกข้อมูลบางส่วนไว้อ่านแบบออฟไลน์โดยไม่ต้องต่อเน็ตได้ หรือจะบันทึกทั้งหมดก็ได้โดยการซื้อความสามารถนี้ผ่านระบบ In-app Purchase

“Samui+” (Samui plus) is an iPhone application that features tourist information, photos, and interactive map for Samui Island (a.k.a. “Koh Samui”) and nearby Pha-ngan (full-moon party), Tao, Nang-Yuan and Aung-tong islands. The app works online, loading latest data from the server and store them temporarily for faster viewing. The map is based on the service provide by Apple Maps with current location display for navigation purposes. Additional features include:
“Comment and Rating” system with Facebook authentication that also share the users’ voice back to Facebook.
“Recommended places” system for users or venue owners to add more up-to-date information about their places.
“Offline mode” for users to save limited number of places for offline reading, with an option to purchase the right to keep whole data offline via In-app purchase.
