Application Description
sampoX is an application that displays and records the Track and the pedometer.
sampoX can record the moving track in the background.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Please notice the rest of the battery.
The track logs are recorded with GPX, NMEA-0183 and csv format. The logs with NMEA-0183 can be imported directly to GPS Image Tracker.
Recorded track can be displayed on the Map. Current location is centered and marked on the map.
You can directly download from iPhone with simple HTTP server.
KML Route can be displayed and waypoints with a address and photo can be defined.
In pedometer the calorieout is calculated by moving distance, speed((1.6km/h〜18km/h) and weight by means of METs table. In indoor mode the calorieout can be calculated by the stride and steps.
CalorieOut(kcal) = 1.05 x METs x hours x Weight(kg)
Beep sounds every two steps in order to adjust the sensitivity and sampling rate of the accelerometer.
You can switch on or off the proximity sensor and sleep timer.
