In recent times it is the mobile phone that has transformed our lives. Never has a technology had such an impact on us in such a short time. This app showcases a unique collection of telephones that trace the history of the mobile phone from its launch in the UK in 1985. Starting with the first generation of analogue mobiles, each phone is comprehensively described allowing you to see just how large these early machines actually were, how heavy they were to carry and what little call time they delivered.
