Application Description
The navigation charts are generated from IHO (International Hydrographic Organization) S-57 and Inland ENC formats. The details of these formats can be obtained at the official web-sites: http://www.iho.int and http://ienc.openecdis.org.
The implementation of the program is based on the IHO requirements to the data presentation in the ECDIS. These requirements are stated in the «Special Publication No. 52» documents:
- «IHO ECDIS Presentation Library»;
- «Color & Symbol Specifications for ECDIS»;
- «Specifications for chart content and Display for ECDIS».
Program updates location in background mode.
Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
