Sabbatical Countdown is a simple application that allows a user to enter the date of their sabbatical (or other event) using a button on the main view and then view the duration of time remaining from today until the event. The duration of time is given in Years, Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds.

The Sabbatical Countdown application can be configured through the settings menu to a) change the hour of day that the final event takes place and b) change the text descriptions on the view to mark an event other than a Sabbatical. For example, a user could change the text to indicate a countdown to a Birthday and the final hour of day for the event could be set to Midnight.
