Roommates by Apartment List is the first app designed for finding compatible people to live with. It's an easy introduction and a way to safely chat, get offline, and meet a potential roomate.

We'll be adding new cities soon so stay tuned!

Here's how it works:
1) Create a profile by connecting with Facebook and answering a few questions.
2) Roomates shows you profiles of others looking for housing in your target area.
3) Anonymously decide if you might want to meet each person or not.
4) When there's mutual interest, Roomates makes the introduction!
5) Chat with your matches within the app, talk specifics, and get to know each other.
6) The rest is up to you but we recommend grabbing a drink or coffee before seeing apartments.

No more wasted emails or settling for lack of a better option. Finding a roomate has never been so easy!
