What if you aren’t quite sure what particular shades of suit? Just tap the ‘What’s my shade’ button, answer three questions and the app will tell you the perfect reds for your skin tone, skin color and hair color.

Lastly, we would have loved nothing more than to make the RED Lipstick app free, but as you’ll realise when you use it, such advanced technology and design obviously doesn’t come cheap. We could have done what so many other app developers do and create a free version with reduced functionality (such as only being able to try a few shades of red or not including a mirror function) then have you pay for added functionality. But really, what’s the point when we know virtually every woman on earth would gladly pay for the added functionality anyway.
