Application Description
Use your iPhone or iPod touch to design and analyze reinforced concrete columns, slabs, and corbels. RC Design is a tool for civil and structural engineers, as well as students, for designing reinforced concrete members.
This purchase include:
- Rectangular and circular short columns design and analysis.
- Two-way shear design: Calculates the required amount and spacing of slab shear reinforcement to resist two-way shear caused by rectangular or round columns at the middle, edge, or corner of slab. The results include a very useful "Excess Shear Stress" diagram, which can be used to determine reinforcement cut off locations.
- Corbel design: Calculates the required corbel depth and reinforcement (main & stirrup) required to resist a vertical and horizontal force.
RC Design uses the latest ACI 318-08 and 318M-08 to design and analyze reinforced concrete members.
Additional packages, such as RC Beam pack, can be purchased using iPhone OS 3.0 In-App purchase feature.
