Application Description
What does this app do?
This app creates a random string of characters (that you choose). You can choose how many characters you want the string to be.
How to use this app:
1. Decide which characters you would like to appear in your randomly generated.
2. Enter them into the “Allowed characters” field. Make sure you separate each character with a comma.
3. Decide and type in how long you want the string to be.
4. Click generate.
You can copy the output and paste it into another application if you like. If you are using the Speak feature, please ensure your device is not muted.
A couple of interesting uses:
- You could mimic a set of DNA nucleotide bases (a genome). Type in "A,T,C,G" as the allowed characters and set a high length.
- You can use this as a dice by setting the allowed characters as "1,2,3,4,5,6" and setting the length to 1.
