Radical - Simplified Chinese presents a whole new way of learning Chinese characters fast and effectively, while adjusting to your unique skills.
Flashcards have been in use since at least 1834. Why is it that, with a handheld device as powerful as an iPhone, we're still using technology nearly 180 years old? Learning has advanced since the 19th century, and with Radical, we'll bring the advances to you. Specifically:

Radical tracks how quickly you learn, using a sophisticated cognitive model based on the world-renowned public research of Sebastian Leitner (the Leitner system), Piotr Wozniak (the researcher behind SuperMemo), and Paul Pimsleur (of the Pimsleur language learning system) to maximize your learning potential and minimize your memorization time.
2. You are the one who writes; we keep track of the bookkeeping for you. Kinesthetic learners and those who believe in learning-by-doing will rejoice by being intimately involved in the learning experience, not just flipping through a few cards. 3. Radical has a number of stroke animations, showing you the rules and correct way to form characters.
