Application Description
The RadBeacon app is the configuration utility for RadBeacon iBeacons from Radius Networks.
With the RadBeacon app you can scan for nearby, configurable Radius Networks iBeacons. Once discovered, you can display each iBeacon's operating settings and make modifications to those settings.
Scanning for iBeacons
Scan for nearby configurable iBeacons by swiping down on the iBeacons table. Each iBeacon discovered is displayed with the following attributes
- Device Name
- Device Mdel
- Device ID
Reviewing iBeacon Settings
Select any iBeacon in the table to view it's detailed settings. The settings displayed include:
- Device Name
- Device Model
- Device ID
- Advertised UUID Identifier
- Advertised Major Identifier
- Advertised Minor Identifier
- Advertised Power Value
- Advertising Rate Setting
- Advertising Transmit Power Setting
Updating iBeacon Settings
From the iBeacon Settings view, you may change any of the modifiable settings, press Apply and submit a valid PIN to update the settings for this iBeacon.
Updating iBeacon PIN
From the iBeacon Settings view, you can press PIN and submit a new and existing PIN to update the PIN for an iBeacon.
Resetting iBeacon to Factory Settings
From the iBeacon Settings view, you can press Reset and submit a valid PIN to reset the device to the original factory settings.
With the RadBeacon app you can scan for nearby, configurable Radius Networks iBeacons. Once discovered, you can display each iBeacon's operating settings and make modifications to those settings.
