RaceTools Timer is an accurate timer that can be used for timing anything down to the second.

It operates both as a countdown timer and a count-up timer.

Designed by sailboat racers, RaceTools Timer is ideal for tactical use in sailboat racing where precise timing during the start of the race is critical. We have raced sailboats for many years and this is the timer with the features that we have always wanted.

RaceTools Timer is simple to use. Just set the timer and press the start button. You can also press the start button and adjust the time and intervals on the fly while it is running. The brightly colored buttons are visible and easy to press.

How often have you started your timer and realized later that you were a second or two off from where it should be? RaceTools Timer allows for adding or subtracting either seconds or minutes while the timer is running. The timer can also be synchronized up or down to the nearest whole minute.

If a phone call comes in while the timer is running, you can take the call without worrying about losing the time. When the call is over, the timer will re-synchronize and continue running. This also occurs if you close the application with the timer running and open it again within a week. We use this feature with the timer in count-up mode to keep track of sail usage during a race.
