What if, instead of running or cycling your favourite short course 100 times throughout the year, what if you ran that same overall distance, but to another city! That's what this app is about, the big picture. It's about challenging yourself in a way that hasn't been possible until now. Every time you go for a run or a bike ride, you're not just exercising, you’re getting one step closer to achieving a huge goal! 

See how long it takes you to run the equivalent of from LA to Vegas, or Milan to Paris. Best of all, you can race your friends there, collect badges and trophies along the way, and share all your achievements on social media. 

Each time you go for a run or a bike ride, start up the app and chose your journey. Race Around the World will tell you how far you’ve travelled on this run and how far you've travelled for the entire journey. You don't even need to keep the app open. If you use another fitness app, Race Around the World can keep tracking your progress in the background until you press stop. 

When you've finished your run, you'll be able to see how far you've travelled on the map. You can also see where you are in relation to your friends in the race. The winner gets to keep the trophy in their trophy case. 

While you're running, the app will always be one step ahead of you: If someone in your race tries to cheat, it will know! 

We're hoping that Race Around the World connects people in a way that hasn’t been possible before. In a sense, it removes distance, and allows people to connect in a physical way from anywhere around the world.
