Application Description
With QuickTalk, you can finally use your mobile device to truly communicate how you feel. From sending goofy recordings to friends, contacts, and colleagues, to recording a thoughtful message for your grandmother on her birthday, QuickTalk provides its users with a more intimate and personal means of communication. Sarcasm, sincerity, humor, and love are often lost through typing and the reading of a text message. QuickTalk offers a new way to let your voice be heard.
How It Works:
The layout behind QuickTalk is simple. To record a message (up to twelve seconds), the user presses the “Record” button and speaks into the microphone of the device. After choosing to save the message, the user can na
me the recording. Users can only save messages, which they recorded themselves. To send the recording, the user presses the “Check” button and selects the recipients.
Special Features:
Unlike other messaging systems, QuickTalk does not permanently store your sent messages, allowing the sender to truly express their thoughts. The “Anonymous” feature allows the sender to hide his/her identity when sending a recording to a fellow user. QuickTalk users can also overlay voice filters to their original recording, further enhancing the anonymity of the message. Users can also share saved recordings to social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter.
