QuickCode is a simple QR Code reader and generator that allows you to create a QR Code from any text message, and send it to your friends by email or SMS.
They will receive an image, unreadable without a QR Code reader app.

QuickCode is designed to simplify the action of creating a QR Code from a text message and decoding a text from a QR Code image.
Enter your text, hit "Clipboard and SMS", then paste it into your SMS.
When you receive the image by SMS or mail, copy it, open QuickCode app, paste it and read your message.

Please note that this is not a cryptographic tool. If you are looking for the most secure way of sending private SMS, then this app is not for you. Its purpose is to hide your message contents from indiscrete viewers, for example when your phone gets a message while left unattended on your desktop, or when you lend your phone to a friend but you don't want him to read certain messages.

QuickCode app is also a fully featured code reader, it will decode any content, and recognize URLs in order to open the appropriate app (Safari, Mail, YouTube, etc.).
It includes a standard camera-based decoder that allows you to take picture of bar codes. On iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4, decoding is live and automatic, on iPhone 3G you need to take a picture manually.
We currently support iOS versions from 4.0 to 4.3.1.

An internet connection is required to generate qr codes.
