Protect-Me is a personal security system.

When you're feeling unsafe, for instance when walking through a potentially dangerous or unknown area, start the app and touch the screen.

As long as you keep touching the screen, the app is dormant.

However, when you let go, the alarm will trigger.

First, a loud sound is played (TIP: Increase the volume of the iPhone). This might scare off any would-be attacker.

Then, a countdown is started. This gives you enough time to stop the alarm from progressing, for instance when you reach a safe area.

When the countdown has reached zero, the *real* event takes place. First, the app sends out one or two emails to your guardians. This email contains a short text, and most importantly, a map-link, to show where you are *right now*! The recipient can use this link to find the quickest route to your location, or to inform authorities if you need help.

Then, the application initiates a phone call to your designated main guardian. This will allow the callee to listen in, in the case of a real attack.

All of this happens automatically when you release the screen.

This makes the application really easy and safe to use.
