ProofReader is the on-going project to create a visual guide to markup and copy correction marks. The international symbols for copy markup differ slightly from one region to the next, but have a solid base in European and US standards.

The ProofReader app gives a brief description of the markup, a visual of edited text, as well as the standard recognized mark, and any alternative that may be used in other regions.
