This guide is a toolkit for film productions. It provides practical information on working and filming in Finnish Lapland and it is produced by Finnish Lapland Film Commission.
The Finnish Lapland Film Commission has been operating since summer 2008. Our mission is to promote the region as a national and international filming location, provide services to production teams and develop local audiovisual and production service businesses.
Finnish Lapland Film Commission helps film crews to find the ideal locations, partners and crew members from the area. Our services for productions are free of charge.
Finnish Lapland Film Commission is a member of Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI), European Film Commissions Network (EUFCN) and a founding member of Scandinavian Locations Network.
Finnish Lapland Film Commission is funded by the Regional Council of Lapland through the European Regional Development Fund, as well as by other public and private stakeholders in the region.
