Privatection is

3) A system which provide minimum information rather than full data;
For example, provide close random latitude and longitude rather than real GPS information including altitude and speed etc.
4) A system which provide final result rather than all information including original data.
For example, provide distance but no original location information.

Privatection is not
1) An app which directly provides features for end-users.
But users can setup their own prviatection parameters once for all apps;
2) An always-on background app.
The privatection will be actives only another app request its function;
3) A cloud-based system and store data via network.
All data is stored in your device only;
4) A licensed system.
It's free for all end-users and third party apps.

The random location service let users play the location-based service apps and hide their real GPS information as for most apps, the close latitude and longitude values are sufficient for most features. The scope of the random latitude and longitude can be adjusted by users.
For a Privatection-enabled app, it's safer for user as the app can't collect the real GPS information even if it does.
The Privatection itself has the real GPS information but it isn't a network app so your privacy GPS information is controlled by yourself.
