- Alarm can only be enabled if power adapter is connected to the computer and energized.

- Application is now running from the menu bar, as a status bar icon.

- User can change alarm sound.

- Adapter connection status is shown on the menu.

- Alarm can be enabled only when screen is idle.

- Volume is set and maintained at highest setting when alarm is on, even if the keyboard volume buttons are pressed. Mute is also kept disabled.
