Application Description
The Official City of Portage App!
PortageMI allows citizens to learn about news and events in their community. In addition to staying informed, PortageMI includes Report It! an initiative of the city allowing citizens to report nearly any maintenance problem in the city.
Learn about city news directly on your iPhone/iPod touch. Share local city information with built-in Facebook and Twitter integration. Save upcoming city events directly to your iCal calendar, where you can set an alarm or reminder for the event through your Calendar.
Report-It! for iOS allows all members of the Portage community to report and request maintenance. Use it to report damages mailboxes, roadkill, inoperable traffic signals, potholes, and more. Simply take a photo with the Report-It! App, then locate the problem with the interactive GPS map, and select the problem type. An optional, descriptive message may be added before finally submitting a request. Viola! The request will be transmitted to the appropriate maintenance office for further investigation.
