Portable Check-In is primarily used as a replacement for paper forms into which the service advisor records the condition of the vehicle when its reception to a workshop. In addition to this basic function it also uses connection with dealer's DMS, which enables fast and easy work with existing customers and vehicle data. Portable Check-In performs photographic documentation, graphically records damage of the vehicle, offers customer a variety of service activities including service packets created by manufacturer and many more useful features. All collected data are used as a basis for the creation of an acceptance protocol and also are sent to the dealer's DMS, where can be used for order processing and saved to a vehicle history.
