Application Description
PorQpine is a SMS Messaging Client for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
Use PorQpine to send cheap SMS messages to anywhere in the world using Clickatell Bulk SMS Gateway.
To use PorQpine:
1. Go to settings page and enter Clickatell account information and your registered Sender ID (your phone number).
2. To send a message, enter the mobile number (country code followed by the number). For example an Australian number starts with country code 61 and then the number without the starting zero. i.e. 61412444333. Alternatively, you could select the phone number by selecting from the Contacts list. Please note that you may have to update your contacts list to include the country code in the mobile numbers. For example, a contact may have a number such as 0412444333 so update it to be +61412444333, where +61 denotes the country and note that we have removed the leading zero.
3. To send, click the Send button. The message is first queued at Clickatell gateway and a message indicating that will be shown at the top of the application. PorQpine then polls the Clickatell gateway to see if the message has been sent.
4. When a message is sent, a message to that effect is shown at the top of the application, the message and number are cleared from the screen and credit is updated.
5. If you want to send the message to multiple contacts, you can do so by selecting multiple contacts from PorQpine.
