Application Description
POLISMART is an application for Radiation Detector POLISMART® II. The POLISMART® II has two modifications PM1904 – is a Dosimetric Radiation Detector and PM1905 – is a Searching Radiation Detector. The application POLISMART is common for both models of Radiation Detector POLISMART® II. The user interface for PM1904 and PM1905 is different only at the Dose and Searching Modes.
The POLISMART has five different modes:
- Dashboard
- Track
- History
- World Map
- Settings
1. Dashboard is a main mode. It has a submodes:
For PM1904 it is Dose Rate and Dose. For PM1905 it is Dose Rate and Search.
- Dose Rate
The Dose Rate submode allows to measure of gamma radiation intensity levels. At the equivalent dose rate measuring units – Sv/h or at the exposition dose rate measuring units – R/h.
Button Reset allows restarting of the current dose rate measurement.
Button Waypoint allow to save the current dose rate measuring result in accordance of the GPS coordinate into iPhone's memory.
User may change the dose rate thresholds levels by his own discretion - Mode Settings.
- Dose
The Dose submode allows measuring accumulated dose of gamma radiation. At the equivalent dose measuring units – Sv or at the exposition dose measuring units – R.
Button Reset allows restarting of the current accumulated dose measurement.
Button Waypoint allows saving the current dose rate measuring result in accordance of the GPS coordinate into iPhone's memory.
User may change the dose thresholds levels by his own discretion - Mode Settings.
- Search
The Search submode allows to measure of gamma radiation intensity levels and compare it with the previously measured (at the Calibration) the background level.
Button Reset allows restarting of the current dose rate measurement.
Button Waypoint allows saving the current dose rate measuring result in accordance of the GPS coordinate into iPhone's memory.
User may change the Coefficient N by his own discretion - Mode Settings.
2. Track
The Track mode allows recording tracks movement of Radiation Detector POLISMART® II and show its on the electronic map. The track’s waypoints are added to the current track in accordance with predefined user conditions - Mode Settings.
Conditions of adding waypoints to the current track:
- Distance, every … meters
- Time, every … minutes
- Exceeding the first threshold
- Exceeding the second threshold
The waypoints are also may added to the current track manually by User’s own discretion.
3. History
The History mode allows seeing the saved data in the iPhone's memory. User may see the combined Daily the common information - Sets. As well as information on the tracks and waypoints.
User may delete and share this information by Email, to the Twitter or Facebook.
4. World Map
At World Map mode the whole saved in the iPhone's memory waypoints are shown on the electronic map.
5. Settings
Disclaimer: continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
