Application Description
PocketSaver is a application designed to help you quickly find the best deals. it find deals on products from stores you know and love so that you never miss out on the next price cut, clearance or special offer again!
It fully supports retina displays and IOS 5 Twitter integration.
PocketSaver has five main sections to it:
Deals: This allows you to search, sort and tweet deals you find, all with a smart design.
Notifications: Busy at work? Don't have time to check the newest deals every five minutes? With the Notification function you can easily solve this, simply set a deal word like "Iphone" up and if PocketSaver finds a new deal containing that word, you will be notified instantly via a push notification.
This works even when not using the app, so make sure you never mess a deal again!
Tools: This contains a arsenal of shopping tools to help you save money and time. Currently, it includes two. A VAT Calculator and a 0800 number converter, converting 0800 numbers into free ones. However many more are to come in constant updates so keep a look out!
Journal:
Ever needed to keep track of all the deals and products you want to buy? This is where the Journal comes in. It allows you to manually or automatically (via a Deal) add a product to the list with information such as a description, priority, price, date and where you found it.
You can divide products into two sections, The products you want to buy and the products you have already brought.
Need to find out the total cost of your purchased items? It's as easy as pressing the calculate button.
Shopping News:
This is essentially a magazine integrated into the application. Articles will be written on a regular basis with subjects such as "Top Ten Electronics this christmas" or "Five Reasons to buy a Iphone".
There will constantly be new articles for you read, if you can pull yourself away from the deals!
This application is only version 1.00. I plan to add many updates that add brand new features such as more deals, more tools and journal updates
It currently receives deals from the hotukdeals website, however a update is underway to incorporate many more deals websites into this app!
