“Joe the Pro” is the principal handicapper for My Platinum Picks. Joe has been a sports handicapper since the 1980’s. Last year Joe’s #1 weekly picks smoked Las Vegas and bookies nationwide with his unheard of 85.7% record.


As a young boy growing up in Pittsburgh, Joe was mentored by the local bookies and odds makers and by the age of 18 had accumulated a lifetimes worth of handicapping knowledge and knew more than most of the oddsmakers in Las Vegas. He had a knack for numbers and later received a Master’s Degree in Statistics from California State University.


During the 1980’s the infamous Stardust Sportsbook asked Joe to become an oddsmaker in THE sportsbook of Las Vegas, Joe turned down the position and decided to become an independent handicapper. Since then, Joe’s unique approach and analytical mind has proven a winning combination year after year.
