Place helps you share YouTube videos, SoundCloud tracks, Dropbox files -- in real-world places. Explore your city, find amazing exclusive specials in coffee shops, restaurants, spas, gyms, bookstores and other places nearby.
What is Place app for?
If you are out on town, just open the Place app on your iPhone, pick one of the nearby places and instantly get access to it’s specific content. It could be a nice deal in a bookstore, or a special offer for a brunch in a fancy restaurant, or even a free hour of workout in a gym! You will also see what other people placed there: their video reviews, favorite music, files that you can download, or even contacts of useful people that you can call or text right away.
Any of these will take you just two taps! Open Place, pick a place, choose a story, enjoy yourself!
When you place your story (and by placing we mean sharing it at a real-world place), you can choose to share it with the world, your friends, or specific people. Want your Facebook friends and Twitter followers be aware of your Place activities? Just press the icons when you place your story, and they will see your story in their timelines and on the web.

1. We connect to Foursquare to get the list of places around you.
2. We do not store the content on our servers - we simply attach YouTube videos, SoundCloud tracks and Dropbox files to the places in our database. Place will not eat all your bandwidth!
