Finally an App that allows you to edit images in pixel resolution. Pixel Editor is the 1st App available that gives you control of the pixels of any image right from your iPhone or iPod touch. You can use it to view, analyze and modify any image in your Photo Library in full resolution, or create new images from scratch.

Pixel Editor can handle images of up to 8 mega pixels (in iPhone 4S), either taken by the iPhone camera or downloaded from the web.

The iPhone camera has a wonderful resolution, but the stock iPhone image viewer only shows a low resolution version of the whole image, blurring details when trying to zoom. Before, to view the details of your photos you had to transfer them to a computer; now with Pixel Editor you can view the pixel details right on your device.

But you’re not limited to only looking at the details, if there’s a part you don’t like, you can change it! Pixel Editor gives you control over the color of all individual pixels.

And while Pixel Editor works with images of up to 8 mega pixels, it can also be used to create pixel art right on your iPhone; just create a canvas any size you want and start painting one pixel at a time.

Once you’re satisfied with the modifications you’ve made, you can save the image back to your Photo Library, or download it to disk by iTunes.
