One night Little Hie-chan and her mom were gazing out the window at the slim crescent moon.
"Look, it looks just like you, Hie-chan." said Mom.
Hie-chan watched over the crescent moon every night as her mom told her.
The crescent moon, once so slender, before long turned into a big, round moon.
"It became a grown up like you" said Hie-chan.
But the round moon now seemed to be getting thinner and thinner.
Hie-chan was very worried.
And finally the moon completely disappeared.
"Mom, the moon is gone! Will you go someday too?"
Her mom said to Hie-chan who burst into tears out of worry...
