① What is Pickture app?
＊ It lets any Instagram users enter their old and new photographs into weekly competitions anonymously. We run 3 themed competitions every week and you can purchase credits to either enter your photos into the competition, or Pick your favourite photo to win. You win a prize if your entry is voted the top Pickture. If not, you will also win a prize for Picking the winning Pickture. The more entries and Picks, the higher the prize.

② Why is the contest anonymous?
＊ We believe photos should be popular because of it's quality, not because of the photographer and the number of followers an Instagramer has. By keeping the photographers' names anonymous, voters Pick the photo and not the photographer.

③ How is Pickture app different from other Instagram competitions?
＊ We keep the identity of each contestant anonymous, and there are no complicated rules on hash-tagging and reposting to remember. By the way… we give out cash prizes too!

④ Why can I sign-in to only one device per Pickture account?
＊ We want to ensure that the competition is fair for all and free of fraud. By limiting one Pickture account to one device, we can minimise the possibility of fraud.

⑤ What can I win on Pickture app?
＊ Cash prizes are paid through Paypal. You should have a Paypal account linked to your registered email on Pickture app to receive the prizes. You never know what other prizes we might offer in the future!

⑥ How do I get more credits to play in Pickture app?
＊ Right now, you can buy Pickture app credits via PayPal within the app in the ME tab. The more credits you buy, the more the discount! Follow us on Instagram... You never know when we'll announce an event on Instagram for followers to gain free credits!

⑦ I can't re-enter a previously used photo into the contest... Help!
＊ We deliberately allow users to enter a photo into the competition once so we don't keep seeing the same pictures in the contests over and over again! There are two ways around this: one is to keep taking new photos for the contests, and second is to repost old photos on your Instagram feed so you can use them in the contest.

⑧ What if I see a Pickture entry that is offensive or is violating copyright?
＊ At the bottom right corner of every photo is a button that you can use to report offensive photos or those in breach of copyright. If several people report on the same photo, we will be notified to investigate and take necessary action.

⑨ Who owns the right to photos entered into Pickture app?
＊ Other than granting us permission to feature their work on Instagram and other media, the photographer ultimately retains the right to their photos. Hence all our featured photos will mention 'Pickture app contest | Photographer reserves rights' at the bottom.

⑩ How do I know how well my entry performed in the previous rounds?
＊ Look in the ME tab and find the photo you entered into a previous round. You'll see the stats and % of votes you received for that photo.

⑪ How do I get featured in Pickture app's Instagram feed?
＊ We will mainly feature photos from competition entries. Enter only your best photos into the contest and we might feature yours!
