photoJ is a weekly iPad photo magazine with articles in Japanese, published every weekend by the award-winning journalists at Mainichi Newspapers in Tokyo, Japan.

The photoJ application itself is free. Once installed, issues can be purchased from within the app using your iTunes account for $0.99 an issue, or you can save by subscribing for $1.99 a month, in which case new issues can be downloaded weekly without having to purchase each one.

Automatic Renewals for Subscribers:

For all subscriptions, the credit card associated with your iTunes account will automatically be charged $1.99, extending your subscription by another month, unless you turn off the Automatic Renewal option in the subscription preferences of your account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your subscription will automatically renew until canceled. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
