Inspect all the possible data stored ABOUT each photo. Remove photo metadata with an in-app purchase. Photo data may include location (if enabled by the camera), date, device, software versions, file size, file name, and more. This app shows all possible metadata, NO MORE. This app will not guess a location for a photo which does not contain GPS Metadata. If there is not metadata about when the picture was taken, you will still see the file creation date. THIS APP WILL NOT CREATE METADATA WHERE NONE EXISTS.

IMPORTANT: To view your photos, you must allow Photo Investigator access to your photo album. To allow Photo Investigator to see your photos in iOS6, go to the Settings App -> Privacy -> Photos, or on iOS 5 Settings -> Location Services. None of your data will ever be sent off the device.

METADATA: View all photo metadata such as EXIF, TIFF, GPS, and any other available metadata. Note that GPS data will only be included if location services are enabled for the camera app. Likewise, on other cameras and smartphones not all metadata may be included by default.

PHOTO INVESTIGATOR UPGRADE: To make your photos safe for sharing, remove the location from the photo with the in-app purchase. Another in-app purchase also removes ads from the app.
