Application provide ability to perform following calculations:

RW Calculations
App calculates the Formation Water Resistivity (Rw) using parts per million of chlorides and the bottom hole temperature. Also calculates the NaCl equivalent. Algorithm uses standard Rw correlations.


Oil and Gas well log calculations
The app calculates water saturation (Sw) from electric log measurements in oil and gas wells. A preliminary calculation shows porosity using five different rock types using input from either a bulk density log or sonic log. User can choose the porosity, and input the resistivity (Rt) and formation water resistivity (Rw) to obtain water saturation. Optional input for cementation factor (m) and “a” allows calculations using Archie, Humble or modified Humble equations.
