Application Description
PetFriend is an application to help you take care of your pets, and with age calculator! You can also share pet's age, weight or events on facebook with your friend!
It lets you quickly track the birthday (with zodiacal sign) and age of your pet(s).
It also can calculate it's age in human years (NOT just simply multiply 7, we use more accurate formula based on different kinds of pets). You can know how old is a dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig comparing to human.
You can track for more than 1 pets too. So you can also add your friend's pet or your pet's friend!
The application also allows you to record the weights of your pet with date. And you can see its weight trend in graph view.
Another very useful function is the Events function. You can add events to a pet with status. For example, you can have a ToDo list containing the vet appointment, and you can maintain a Done event list to track the pet's history shots.
More Details:
* The Pet Friends function allows you to track more than 1 pets in a list. You can sort the pets order in list by 'Name', 'Age' or 'Birthday'. When the pet's birthday is in 30 days, you will be reminded by the countdown.
* The Weight Record function can show '3-months', '1 year', 'lifetime' weight trend in graph view.
* The Event function:
You can add/read the pet's events in each pet's page. Or there is an 'Event Overview' tabBar, where you can read all events of all pets.You can add event in 'Event Overview' as well.
Event can be associated with more than 1 pet. For example, you might need to take both of your pets to get the rabies shot, you can associate both of them to the event. You will not only see the event in "Events Overview", but you will also see the events in both of their own pages.
* The Age Converter function is now available for dogs, cats, and rabbits. For dogs, the weight factor is also taken into account when calculating the age in human years.
For other species, currently we cannot find generally acknowledged formula to convert their age to human age. (If anyone know some accurate way for conversion, please let us know. We will be happy to add new species to support Age Converter. Thank you!)
