Application Description
This application is supervised by Hiroshi Koie, DVM, Ph.D, Associate Professor; Nihon University.
When your pet seems to have problems on their health, you can find how to deal with the problems with this application by selecting symptoms.
Based on frequently asked questions to veterinarians, you can use this system as a simple symptom checker, and you can tell their symptoms to your veterinarian more accurately.
There are six emergency levels, so you can consider appropriate solutions by seriousness of the symptoms.
[ How to use ]
1. Select symptom category from following medical departments: gastroenterology, urology, otolaryngology, cardiology, dermatology, orthopedics, neurology, ophthalmology, others.
2. Select closest option which describes symptoms.
3. Solutions and emergency level would be displayed.
[ Emergency Level ]
Level 1: Symptoms that is mild or minor problem.
Level 2: Symptoms that require medical examinations, although urgency is low.
Level 3: Symptoms that require medical examinations, confirming the presence of emergency.
Level 4: Symptoms that require medical examinations within 1-2 days.
Level 5: Symptoms that may require emergency hospital admission.
Level 6: Symptoms that may risk life.
