A venue and special locator app with two search parameters- food/drinks and entertainment such as trivia nights or live performances. Users can also determine the geographical area within which they wish the app to locate the venues currently having a special deal. Once search parameters are set by the user, app generates a list with all venues holding relevant specials or events for the current day. Day may be change to future date from results page. From the results page users can access a venue page with more detailed information about the special and venue itself. This page also holds the button which, when tapped will geo-locate the user and determine whether or not they are at the venue in question. If no results are match the search parameters, a holding page instruction the user to try again is generated. Day may be change to future date from results page. Users are able to geo-locate themselves within a venue for the opportunity to win 'venue dollars' to redeem at that particular venue within a specified time-frame. A joke is displayed if no dollar win generated. App features sharing functions (facebook and twitter) on many pages. Users may set reminders to themselves about upcoming specials, prompting the app to send 'reminder notification' on the day of the special. App includes a video link to an instructional/comedic video on how to use the app. App will also generate a list of the upcoming specials at an individual venue once the user has tapped the button to geo-locate themselves there. App uses map functionality which allows user to locate themselves and find venues in the vicinity. Venue pages as mention above may be accessed from the map view. Profile page of the app includes the ability for users to add favorite venues, see history of venues they have previously visited within the app, send feedback about the app, change and update their profile information and store reminders they have set for themselves.
