PeerTrust is an identity platform for the sharing economy. Whenever you share your appartment on Airbnb or your car on RelayRides for example, it can be very interesting to know who you are dealing with before you accept a transaction with someone. PeerTrust enables just that by allowing you to create your own passport and get it validated by peers. The more stamps you have on your passport, the more reliable the information in it.

Please note that PeerTrust doesn't send your identity information to our servers, except for your email address (we need to have a way to reach out to you). Also, your information is only communicated to your peers with your explicit knowledge and in a completely secured way. Plus, it is stored in your phone so that only you can see and use it. So please protect your phone either with a PIN code or with TouchID (iPhone 5S).
