Peer is a tool for meeting professionals to network, learn new skills, and expand your professional world, instantly and over live video. The platform offers skills and keyword search and maps people by their distance from you to help identify matches and facilitate rapid live video introductions, without the need for scheduling. Call requests can be answered immediately or at a later stage, or simply ignored until later (most people are busy right then after all). Calls can easily be denied, and users blocked or flagged, as needed. With Peer, you are safe to access only professionals that have merit for your particular professional development needs. Entrepreneurs and professionals from the technology ecosystem are greatly encouraged to join.

At Peer we're solving the way unacquainted entrepreneurs connect with each other, shifting the dynamic from access to people based on one's limited immediate network, to a platform based on merit and skill. Live video is a platform of choice to immediately meet unacquainted professionals, to quickly discern and connect with new colleagues using both a targeted approach based on skills and background, and serendipitous - who’s online? who’s in my area or in a specific city? who wants to talk in the next 30 minutes?

Sign-in with your LinkedIn account, register, upload a pre recorded video to present who you are, or simply be there to network with other professionals in your area and around the globe.

Peer - Here everyone is an expert! We seek experts and passionate talented professionals who are experienced at what they do. If you doubt you are one, Peer is not for you.

Examples of uses:

1. Person A is a hiring manager seeking an iOS programmer, finds iOS programmer, Person B, in Palo Alto close to his office location. Checks out his bio, sees his intro video, sees people in common, and sends him a video request. Person A finds several other profiles C, D, E etc. and sends them all requests within a period of 10 minutes, then continues with his day. Within 10 minutes Person A hears back from Person D, and after a 30 minute conversation he is so impressed, he schedules an in person meeting at a local cafe. Within a week person D is hired for the new job.

2. Person A is an entrepreneur, and wants a really good UX Designer for his new app. Person A searches and finds person B in another state. After a short conversation Person A is impressed with person B, gets ideas for his app, bookmarks person B for future conversation, and agrees to continue in a couple of days. Person A implements person B's UX suggestions in his app. Person A also works for a large company and makes a referral to outsource person B.

3. Person A is an investor. Person A gets a call request from Person B, an entrepreneur who's background is tremendously impressive. Person A accepts and the party enters the conversation. Within various more meetings over the next 5 weeks, most of which over video, and the last couple in person, the entrepreneur receives funding.
